Graphite Flags

The composite sheets are then cut into “flags”. The materials in each flag run in different directions providing strength and torsional stability to the finished golf shaft. They will be wrapped around a mandrel in various orientations per a specific shaft drawing. This process is known as “flag wrapping”.
