Cellophane

Once all of the flags have been applied to the mandrel, the shaft is placed in this machine to be wrapped in cellophane. This process is done prior to the shaft being placed in an oven to cure at 300? for approximately two hours. This protective wrapping provides a vacuum environment during the curing process that ensures there is no spacing between the layers of fiber on the shaft.
