TRUE TEMPER LAUNCHES WEB SITE: TRUETEMPER.COM

Memphis, TN - September 8, 1997 - .True Temper Sports will be giving attendees of the 1997 PGA International Golf Show in Las Vegas, a sneak preview of their new web site, truetemper.com. The new site will officially be launched on October 20, 1997.

“The web site offers True Temper another avenue in which to reach golfers and customers alike,” says Bill Beatty, Director of Marketing for True Temper. “Our main purpose in developing the web site is to provide golfers an on-line catalog where they could view the full line-up of steel and graphite products True Temper has to offer.”

Not only will the new site serve as an on-line catalog, but it will also provide users with fitting guides, tour information, company press releases, and new product previews. There will also be a section where users can view the company’s television advertisements, as well as segments of promotional videos that focus on shaft technology and shaft fitting. “A section containing the answers to commonly asked questions will also help educate users on the importance of proper shaft selection,” adds Beatty.
