Tip Trimming

Rifle shafts are available in woods and irons. Rifle Shafts are available in coefficients (flexes) ranging from 2.5 - 7.5, in either parallel or taper tip. Rifle shafts are available in pre-cut sets or individual shafts. An example of a pre-cut set is 3-PW. An example of an individual shaft is a 1W or 1I shaft. Pre-cut sets require NO TIP TRIMMING. Simply install each shaft in the respective head and cut to desired playing length from the butt only. Individual 1W, 1I, or 2I shafts (parallel tip only) may be used to build sets or individual clubs.

Project X, Project X Flighted and Rifle Flighted
Project X, Project X Flighted and Rifle Flighted Shafts are available in Irons only, in either parallel or taper tip. They are dedicated length shafts and are available as individual shafts or in sets. An example of an individual shaft is a 1I, 5I, SW, etc. An example of a set is 3-PW. These models require NO TIP TRIMMING even in parallel tip shafts. Simply install each shaft in the respective head and then cut to desired playing length from the butt only. Individual shafts can be used to build/re-shaft a particular club, but CANNOT be used to build sets. For example, building a set of golf clubs using Flighted 1I shafts that have been tip trimmed will not yield a properly shafted set of clubs. In fact, it would defeat the entire purpose of the dedicated shafts.

The Project X graphite shaft is available in woods, parallel tip only and hybrids, parallel and tapered tip.
