The purpose of this guide is to provide detailed product information and trimming instructions for True Temper shafts. Please remember the following general rules when assembling your clubs:

bulletButt trim shafts to finished length after tip trimming unless specified.
bulletTaper tip shafts should never be tip trimmed because they are designed to discrete lengths. Butt trim taper tip shafts to finished length
bulletTip trim according to head type (refer to the appropriate chart below).
bulletThe finished club lengths listed are for reference only and should not be considered "standard" lengths.

Clubhead styles

Through-bore With a through-bore head the shaft is inserted through the entire clubhead.

Blind-bore

A blind-bore head usually has a shaft insertion depth of 1 ¼” to 2”.

Standard-bore

A standard-bore head usually has a shaft insertion depth of 1” to 1 ¼”.
