Why 3 grams? How did you settle on hat weight?

How much of a speed increase are you seeing between long and short irons with the weight differences?

What was the thought process on trying this in a shaft, how didnyou come up with this idea?

How do they compare to the DG Pros?

If I have a set gap wedge would I put the PW shaft in this?

Are these designed more for control or distance?

What are the weights of each shaft length in S400 and X100 (can you show a chart?)?

Should I Soft Step the X1’s or Hard Step the S3/4’s in AMT if I play DGX100’s now?

Hey guys I love my DGS300 if I played AMT shafts in my long irons would my ball flight then change drastically throughout the bag? I have a moderate ball flight which I can really depend on.

Many thanks
Davey

Thinking of returning to DG…How would a Soft stepped X100 AMT stiffness compare to the KBS Tour V I currently have?

Jeremy Kehler

How does shaft mid stiffness differ from AMT to DG?

Zack Buechner

posted 3 years ago

Since each shaft is a different weight, would that promote a different ball flight for each club? And also, if I wanted a higher ball flight for my longer irons (3-5irons) would the AMTs help me achieve that? Thanks!!

Where do the AMT fall in the spectrum of ball flight vs Dnamic Gold and Project X?

Other companies offer progressive weight shaft sets; what sets the AMT apart from these other options?

What type of swing transition would these be most likely to fit? Moderate? Aggressive?

What one aspect of the AMT have made them so appealing to the pros on Tour that play them?

jeremy dick

Can you explain what kind of profile the AMT shaft was designed for and who would benefit the most from them?

What is the major difference between these and the tried and true DG series?

Thanks!

Compared to standard x100, would I see spin differences, specifically in the long irons, between AMT and standard?

Phil McNamara

What is the most common shaft flex purchased for the AMT?

Tyler Nimocks

posted 3 years ago

Do the AMT shafts favor a certain swing type? More of a descending blow vs a sweeping motion for example?

Kieran Doherty

posted 3 years ago

I have been a DG X100 user for 20+ years. The trajectory I get with my irons is one thing I can count on from round to round (accuracy tends to be a little more hit or miss, pun intended!). What sort of ball flight differences would I see, especially in the long irons?

Kevin Beausoleil

With conventional weighted shafts th stepping process is a little more straight forward. How will the be effected with the varying weights?

ShaneU

posted 3 years ago

Do many players even feel a 3g change?

Are any OEMs considering making these a stock option in future iron releases?

Are any OEMs offering these as an upgrade option in their irons?

S Lee

Does the trajectory change as the weight increases?

Ben Thompson

posted 3 years ago

What or who inspired you to develop the AMT shaft. Was it from the guys on tour or from amateur players!? What is the target handicaps! ?

Michael farley

What is the story behind the white and gold?

Ken Mykietowich

posted 3 years ago

How will the tapered shaft help me if I’ve been using a parallel shaft? Will it change my trajectory, dispersion, length?

Beau Foster

posted 3 years ago

Is the weight positioned in different areas of the shaft? Higher in long irons/lower in short? Does it affect kick point in any way?

JCross

posted 3 years ago

Does the shaft come in all flexes?

Anthony

posted 3 years ago

I understand the concept completely – been a fan since the tour guys got a hold of these. My only question is if I’m replacing my DG S400s, can I expect a loss of control in longer irons due to a lighter shaft? Was there a different technology used in the lighter, long iron shafts to keep shot dispersion tight?

Adam

Does the EI Curve (bend profile) remain constant through the set?

Tyler Pluff

posted 3 years ago

How did you settle on the weight range of 114g-132g for the S400 (and 112g-130g for X100) and the 3g increments between clubs?

Did the inspiration of the idea behind AMT come from the Tour or amateur golfers?

Is it a possibility that, in the future, you might expand the line further down into the S300 to R300 spectrum, with similar spin/launch profiles but less weight in all clubs?

Have you seen any improvements (or issues) with club head speed/distance between irons with this concept, in terms of consistency and/or accuracy? Have you had to adjust lofts or make other alterations on iron heads to compensate for changes from previous shaft combinations?

What is the key difference between the flex characteristics of the DG S series and AMT?

Dierks Oswaldo Gaetano the First

With the HZRDUS engineer completely crushing it out in Cali, do you think you should turn him loose on steel?

Leonard

posted 3 years ago

This sounds completely different from a FLIGHTED shaft which aims to launch long irons high and short irons low.
Does the drop off in weight result in a higher trajectory nonetheless? I.e trajectory varies throughout the set. Thanks!

What sparked the idea for AMT?

Tom Graham

How would these help a mid handicap medium swing speed golfer like myself?

Brian Baca

posted 3 years ago

What type of swing profile are these made for? Will I notice an increased stability in my shorter irons or will I just feel like the progression is too much?

Matt Peterson

posted 3 years ago

On average, what kind of increase in launch can a golfer expect to see in the long irons vs. the standard DG?

Do you see the lighter weight in the longer irons making these fit a larger segment of golfers than DG?

Jeremy Hodges

posted 3 years ago

What address should I send my clubs to, so you guys can put my new shafts in?

Okay real question is…..Compared to the current s400 and x100 will the shaft feel more firm/harsh or a bit softer at impact?

Love the products you guys put out.

What are the most significant differences between TI AMT irons and the normal TI irons,

Ben Mullins

posted 3 years ago

How does the ball flight compare to the regular dynamic gold? I am a high ball hitter and want lighter weights in the linger irons, but I don’t want to worry about the ball ballooning on me. Is this something I should be worrying about with these shafts?

KC Leonard

posted 3 years ago

does the weight progression change ball flight? do the lighter shafts in the long irons launch higher then standard TI shafts or does the lighter weight just allow for fast swing speeds?

Alon Asherson

posted 3 years ago

With the 3 gram weight difference in golf club iron shafts throughout the set, how do these changes affect swing weight and how does that translate into feel?

Michael Long

What effect does the nearly 20g weight difference (compared to the DG Tour Issue) in the longer irons have on the durability of the clubs?

Brian V.

posted 3 years ago

What are the differences of Dynamic Gold AMT Tour Issue vs. the stock model?

Can these shafts defeat the throne of House Lannister?

Mat Tuomey

After years of DGS300 and now recently fitted into soft stepped X100 what would be the Benoit of the AMT, I like a lower ball flight being over her in Hoylake!

Brian S.

What is your opinion on having irons shafted to the same length, say a 7 or 8 iron? Would this work with DG AMT shafts? If not, what are the issues?

Chris Catanese

posted 3 years ago

How would these compare to the DG XP line?

Eric Melita

How do these add distance and speed from other steal shafts. You claim they play stiffer then they are, so if you normally play stiff will you have to play regular flex?

Bradley Weiss

What are the weight of the shafts and how do they compare to Dynamic gold

Kyle

posted 3 years ago

Could the average golfer, say a 10-18 handicap, really feel the 18 grams difference between the light and heavy weight shafts on the ends of the spectrum? Would the 3 iron truly feel different than the wedge? Also, could the 3, 4 or even 5 iron shafts from this set be put into hybrid heads to create a transition set?

I normally have to play my irons about 1/2 inch short of standard- does this impact the varying weights of the AMT shafts?

Joe Leo

posted 3 years ago

—What was the impetus behind inventing this new shaft model?
—Do the lighter shafts feel slightly softer than their DG counterparts, or is the weight difference not enough to tell a flex change?
—Have you found a distance increase in the longer irons with this slightly lighter weight shaft setup?
—Which pros are using them, and what feedback have they given you since starting to use them?
—Did you use PGA pros to help design these by taking their opinions before you settled on the final specifications for the shaft?

Richard

You said that the Dynamic Gold AMT has the same performance as the traditional Dynamic Gold, my question is how do I know of the balance point is adjusted so that the swing weight is consistent? I will probably get tired or my swing will feel like its getting heavier when I switched from long irons to short irons. When the increments increases by 3 grams from 3-iron to PW, do you think a golfer will more likely to hit a fat shot because of the increase in weight?

when i throw my 7 iron into the water after another especially bad round can i expect a certain amount of buoyancy from this shaft so it will be easier to retrieve ?

Todd Hamilton

I am 52 and have been debating about changing from steel to graphite in my irons. My current shafts are 85 g R flex. Would I be better off going to a lighter steel shaft or graphite?
