Spin

Spin is the amount of backspin that the ball has. The designs of certain golf shafts can promote more or less spin so keep this in mind when looking for a shaft to maximize your game.

Tempo

Tempo is not how fast you swing it, it is how you swing it fast. Tempo will affect how you load and unload the shaft and is a big factor in which shaft will best suit you. I played the original, and have continued since.

"These shafts are far and above the best shaft I have ever played. Every set of shafts have been consistently weighted, perform consistently, and are nothing but dependable. I have tried other shafts as new shafts have entered the market(c-taper,KBS tour, etc), and nothing compares to Project X for the golfer with a fast tempo. Before Project X I always played DG, they were consistent and great shafts. . . . . they just weren't right for my fast tempo. True Temper has somehow managed to own the two greatest iron shafts, DG for smoother tempo and Proj X for faster tempo. Can't say enough of how consistent and dependable these shafts are. I have owned 12+ sets of these shafts and they are all spot on with ZERO issues."

"These shafts are my go to out of about 7 sets of clubs. I love how consistent they are! On my blades by Mizuno they are really accurate and give me immediate feedback about both good and bad swing paths. Highly recommend!"

DONT DO IT

"I have these shafts on my irons and they are the worst I've ever had in my 20 years of golf. I eventually had to just stop golfing when they became dangerous. This shaft broke at the handle and sliced my thumb open. Oh and by the way their customer service did absolutely nothing to handle the situation. I simply got no response, so now I have to resort here to help future victims."
