Features

Spin

Spin is the amount of backspin that the ball has. The designs of certain golf shafts can promote more or less spin so keep this in mind when looking for a shaft to maximize your game.

Tempo

Tempo is not how fast you swing it, it is how you swing it fast. Tempo will affect how you load and unload the shaft and is a big factor in which shaft will best suit you. A player with a quicker backswing and more aggressive transition will have a faster tempo, while a player with a slower backswing and smoother transition will have a more deliberate tempo.

Trajectory

Trajectory is the flight of the ball and the peak height that the ball reaches. A player who struggles with getting the ball in the air should look towards a higher trajectory shaft, while a player who struggles hitting the ball too high should look for a lower trajectory shaft.

DG Mid 100 Awesome Results!

"55yo. Mizuno JPX 925 HM Pro irons: I soft stepped the DG Mid 100 Stiff and the results have been spectacular for me. 7i SS is 80-82mph and I hit it 160+ with mid-high flight and soft landing angle…stops on dime. These shafts feel powerful but smooth. Tip is active but stable allows good spin but also good dispersion. My miss is a pull and as long as I stay within myself, these want to go straight. I’ve learned to play ball a bit more forward than I’m used to. Helps me maximize the shaft performance based on my swing. Got my HCP down to 10. 2. Loving my ball striking like never before."

Best iron shaft for me.

"Best shaft I have ever used. Had been using the white AMT S400, these are so much better. I launch them higher with similar spin numbers to the AMT and hit them farther."

Great shafts

"I have these shafts in my new Wilson Staff CB irons, and I have found my new favorite iron shaft. In the past, I played Dynamic Gold S300 shafts, and with these new mid-115 shafts, my launch angle and descent angles on my irons are a lot higher. I'm getting more spin as well, and it has helped me hold more greens, especially in the long irons. (Scratch player 90 mph 7 iron club head speed)"

Awesome

"I matched the mid100 r300 with the new Titleist T250 irons. Love the combination. I’m a 67 year old, +3 handicap. My launch, trajectory, spin, and distance are back to where they were 15 years ago. Thank you."

Perfect fit!

"A perfect fit for me! I'm 64 now and needed to get to a lighter, softer shaft that I could create more lift with. . . thank you TT for making this shaft!! Perfect for my needs!"

A Lttle Too Heavy and Stiff

"I had been playing Ai Smoke w/Tensei Blue-R at 75 gr, ball too high. I bought the Ai200 w/DG MID100-R. Immediately my ball trajectory was more controlled and direction was straight. Unbelievable! However, the MID100 lost me 10 yds/club. I also started pulling to the left. I was hitting 7i 155 before, now down to 140 or less. I returned the set and am going for a fitting."

Lost 20 yards

"The tip is way too active for consistent contact. Worst shaft I ever owned. R300"

Great shaft

"Recieved a demo 7 iron from Callaway with the gold 115 and it felt great and performed excellent. At 59 I need a little lighter shaft than your issue shafts without sacrificing a tight shot dispersion and distance. My new Apex irons are getting DG 115s in them. Thanks True Tremper Golf Pro Scott LaCrosse,Wi"

Finally found my shafts!

"I re-shafted by TMP770s with the DGmid100 R300 from approach to 4 iron and cannot be more happy with the results. Not only great feel and matches my tempo. I gained at least a club on each of my irons. Swing weight is D2 and D4 in approach wedge to 9 iron. Put in vibration dampening foam in shafts to reduce shock factor. Had Nippon Tour 105 Rs and Aerotech 95i's r flex but something was not happening right. Used to swing DG S300s on my old MP 14 Mizuno's before when was an 8 handicap. Comfort and ability to swing with confidence is back. Just shot 79 and not bad for a guy who is 68 yo. Highly recommend this shaft for anyone who wants a steel shaft that is light and consistent."
